RCoA Trauma Meeting: ATLS – still fit for for purpose?

This is the talk I delivered at the Royal College of Anaesthetists Anniversary Trauma Meeting, in March 2014.

As the presentation was predominately oral, the slides are primarily for people who attended the meeting to allow them to review references.

The aim of the talk was to analyse whether ATLS training is still the best framework for training in trauma management. The RCoA Matrix codes are 2Ao2 & 3A10.

The handout of my slides can be found here: Summary of RCoA Trauma Meeting 2014 – ATLS Review Dr M D Wiles
